Time 12th – 16th August, 2012 (TDPW is a 5-day workshop)

Eligibility Any age or experience level is welcome to apply for the workshop. This time is only for photographers who are able to do a project in Japan before the actual workshop ( or who have been shooting a project in Japan and have intention to continue the project before the actual workshop) since we ask participants to shoot in Japan before the actual workshop begins.

How to apply
Please download and send us the APPLICATION FORM in which you also write a documentary project proposal. Also please prepare a portfolio of 30 images and post it online to a publicly accessible site (such as flicker, Photoshelter, or yourwebsite etc.) to make it possible for the instructors to view the portfolio.

Notification of acceptance Only 30 participants will be accepted for the workshop. If we receive more than 30 applications, we will select based on the application form (motivation letter) and portfolio. All applicants will be notified by April 7th, 2012.
Terms and Conditions
*Please read the following carefully before you apply.
(1) We will not refund the fee once it’s paid regardless of the reason.
(2) Tokyo Documentary Photography Workshop and Reminders Project are not responsible for any accident, incident or affair including loss and damage of your equipment during the workshop, for the duration of the project and workshop once you are accepted and begin your project.
(3) The workshop fee does not include any airfare, lodging, travel, food etc…
(4) It is participants’ responsibility to makre sure to book where to stay during the workshop.
(5) The paymen of the workshop fee has to be made at once though we will accept divided payment plan. Please ask us further details.
